PlastiCal is a plastic compounding company located in Sylacauga. The company is currently building a state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot mineral/polyolefin compounding plant in the city. The facility is strategically placed in Sylacauga a mile away from two major quarries who mine the 35 mile vein of marble that runs through the area. PlastiCal is slated to start production in the second quarter of 2020 and forecasts producing 50 million pounds a month of highly filled mineral/polyolefin masterbatch.
The goal of PlastiCal is to deliver a first class customer service experience while creating quality products at a competitive cost. The owners, Robert Gaston, Bill “Chopper” Gaston and Glenn Stockdale are all Sylacauga residents who look forward to giving back to the community.
